The actors are good but their characters...
Initially, the plot seemed promising, but it turned out to be disappointing. We're introduced to four couples, each more dull and frustrating than the last.
The first couple: After 14 episodes, the protagonist continues to bend over backward for her partner, only to receive the same excuse repeatedly: "I need time." It's tiresome.
The second couple is cliché and aggravating. The woman spends the entire drama avoiding the man and acting rudely, while he persistently pursues her. It's monotonous and uninteresting.
The third couple had me rolling my eyes throughout. We have a married man who disrespects his wife, behaving as if he's single, to the extent that they resort to using glue to keep his wedding ring on. Meanwhile, the wife tolerates this absurdity and uses the threat of raising the studio rent to keep him in line. It's a glaring lack of self-respect.
The fourth couple is even more unbearable. Initially appearing as the only normal one among the friends, the man reveals himself to be rude and disrespectful to the girl who pursues him, despite her pure intentions. His comment, "It's not that I don't like using my cell phone, I don't like you," was uncalled for. She should have walked away, but according to spoilers, she forgives him far too easily. It's frustrating.
I initially started watching this drama for Hu Yi Tian, and he's the only reason I continue. However, I'm already losing patience by episode 14; I can't imagine enduring 40 episodes. The protagonist's lack of awareness is particularly disappointing. Only Ye Han's character stands out.
PS: The only thing that piques my curiosity is the return of Ye Han's ex-fiancée and the implications of her departure without explanation. Regardless, Ye Han gets a 10/10; as for the rest, I'd rather not comment.

Nothing New Mostly Generic/Tittle Should be Loving you Endlessly /Headache
My return to Chinese drama felt like a curse, and I've learned that sometimes you should trust TikTok edits. Let's dive in—this drama is excessively long with 40 episodes, possibly extended due to the multiple couple dynamic. It's essentially a high school drama where people in love struggle to communicate like adults, and forcing someone to love you seems to be the new trend.
Starting with Ye Han—this main lead might be harshly described because most viewers prefer a handsome lead, which he is. However, his portrayal is akin to a man rediscovering love, only to realize the girl he's smitten with likes one of his friends. It's frustrating to watch him pursue someone who repeatedly rejects him, exhibiting stalker vibes. Yet, he's somehow seen as a green flag because he's always there. Despite his flaws, good luck to him—I'm still waiting for the ex to make a comeback.
Moving on to Li Xiao Xiao—the female lead. Just when I thought they were improving female characters, I was proven wrong. At least she doesn't rush into a relationship as soon as her crush discovers her feelings. However, the drama poorly handles her unrequited love, blaming the male lead for her crush on him, which he's unaware of. She fits the stereotype of the high school princess type, and I won't be surprised if she eventually pursues the male lead, contradicting the tagline of "male lead chase first." Her inability to move on from her crush, who likes her so-called best friend, is frustrating to watch.
Xu Jia Cheng's only crime is falling in love, while Tong Yi Wen's only crime is falling in love and aspiring for success—oh, and being in love with her best friend for a long time.
In conclusion, you can watch it, but let's be honest—the plot is weak with forced elements. It's best enjoyed with your logic turned off.
